Many years ago, while translating tenders by hand, a linguist noted that contract awards defined the economic future of the players involved. It struck him that if contract awards everywhere could be compiled, their economic future in general could be measured…

At the time, such calculations were impossible, the volume of data and speed of transmission far surpassing the computing power then available. That is no longer the case; but even so, it took the translator two years of research to solve the technical problems involved.

And the translator became our CEO

Malcolm Duff

Formerly the CEO of two ISO-9001 certified translation companies and senior translator in technology for UNESCO, Paris, Malcolm carried out the 2 years of groundbreaking conceptual and research work that resulted in Tixx™.

He has extensive experience in managing multinational projects, notably with translators from 33 countries for the Inttranet™, the world’s first multilingual portal (added to the UNESCO Observatory for the Information Society in January 2006). That and his in-depth knowledge of the Tixx™ application make him the ideal Chief Operations Officer for its global deployment.

The founder of her own web design company only one year after escaping from the war in Ukraine with her children and pets, Yana has extensive experience in cyber-security and computing, backed by the wide-ranging skills in web design for a fast-growing customer base. She also brings to the team her eye for detail and aesthetic sense of beauty as a professional photographer published in magazines worldwide.
