Tixx™ compiles data from public-sector contract awards each day across 194 countries. Because these contracts remain valid for X weeks, months, or years after publication, Tixx™ can calculate the value of each market sector and of the market players at any time during that period.
Forecasts are refreshed daily from updated contract awards to maintain high accuracy; figures are adjusted when source notices change.
The initial purpose is to provide a highly accurate tool for economic forecasting based on reliable data.
The ultimate purpose is to make that tool affordable for businesses of every size, in particular Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), so that they can plan for their own future based on knowledge of what is going to happen in their specific market sector over the coming weeks, months, and years.
Companies and government departments in every country can use Tixx™ to plan and prepare for the future, based on reliable future data, and not conjecture based on past data.
In addition to economic data, Tixx™ can calculate a wide range of other socio-economic factors based on the GDP, such as future crime, corruption, environmental vulnerability, inflation, poverty and unemployment rates.
All figures are sourced directly from government procurement websites.
In most countries, Tixx™ covers 40–60% of GDP on a daily basis.
Updates run every working day, with refreshes approximately every 24 hours
Future versions of Tixx™ will include the contracts above regulatory thresholds awarded by the private sector as well as the public sector in each country, raising the representativity of Tixx™ to approximately 85%.
The threshold depends on the type of contract and the country. In the EU at the time of publication, for goods and services it is around €45,000 (exclusive of VAT).
