Evidence across the supply chain
Public procurement supports activity across infrastructure, transport, energy, education, health and many other sectors. Awarded contracts identify selected suppliers and can generate demand for subcontractors, materials and services.

Public tenders
All works of national importance — infrastructure, transport, space, defence, education, health — are the subject of calls for tender.

SMEs & MSMEs
These companies then launch their own calls for tender for supplies and related services, to which SMEs respond; SMEs in turn call on MSMEs for smaller supplies and services. Together they account for around 20% of GDP.

Consumer economy
These combined public and private markets generate income through employment — and consumer spending that accounts for the rest of a country's GDP.

Data
International sources, focused coverage
In the EU alone, the contracts covered by procurement rules are worth about €616 billion a year — three times the size of the EU budget itself. Globally the number runs into the trillions.
Our database comprises some 25 million historical award records from 750 official sites in 194 countries, updated with as many as 125,000 new awards each day. Initial platform coverage focuses on France, the United Kingdom and Belgium, with additional countries introduced progressively. Where contract dates and durations are available, they offer a view of commitments extending into future periods, alongside analysis of past and current award activity.

Impact
The engine of the real economy
MSMEs' fragility is increased by a first horizon often measured in days — and they cannot plan for a second or third horizon, because they lack the forecasting available to larger companies.

In every country, MSMEs are key to economic growth, innovation, employment and social integration. By making our pragmatic, sector-specific forecasting methodology available to them all, we help them foresee and secure their own futures — and those of their employees.
