Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Datatixx processes personal data collected through this website, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés).

What we collect and why

Contact form (Contact and Partners pages)

• Data: first name, last name, email address, subject, topic and your message.
• Purpose: to answer your request and follow up with you about it.
• Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering the people who contact us, or steps taken at your request before a possible contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b)).

After you send the form, we may email you a short message confirming that we have received it. It contains no advertising.

Market survey (Chambers page)

• Data: organisation name, address, country, region, city, district, postcode, phone number, email address, website, registration number, affiliations and your comments.
• Purpose: to process the survey and contact your organisation about it.
• Legal basis: our legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

Protection against spam

To block automated submissions, the server briefly counts form submissions per IP address. The address is stored only in coded form (a hash), never in plain text, and the counters are deleted within 24 hours. Our host also keeps standard technical logs (IP address, page requested, date) for a short period for security purposes.

• Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

Audience measurement (only with your consent)

If you accept the “Analytics” cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, time spent, approximate location (country, city), device and browser type, and the website you came from. Google Analytics does not store your IP address. We do not use it for advertising.

• Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time via “Cookies” at the bottom of every page.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we never sell it.

Who receives your data

• Authorised Datatixx staff who need it to handle your request.
• IONOS SARL (France), our hosting and email provider, which processes data on our behalf.
• Google Ireland Limited, only if you accept the Analytics cookies.

Transfers outside the European Union

Form data stays within the European Union. Google may process analytics data in the United States; such transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Under French law, you may also give instructions on what should happen to your data after your death.

If you believe your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority: CNIL, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07 — www.cnil.fr.

Security

The site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to your data is limited to the people who need it.

We may update this policy, for example when we add a new service. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of the page.
